"Can books change lives?"

A few years ago, during a retrospective, a scrum team member told me in 'what went well': "You were out of office yesterday and the scrum call went really well, since X conducted it". ( If my 11 year old daughter would have been there in the room, she would have shouted 'Mom you are Roasted!!!!' LOL :)) I am not a saint and I was obviously offended. But I then remembered Victor Frankl's words in Man's Search for Meaning', "We give meaning to our suffering by the way in which we respond to it". So I quickly recovered and told him, "We are talking about the last sprint here so you can probably write down somewhere and remember to say this in the next retrospective :)." Everyone couldn't help but laugh. After the meeting I spoke to the team members, on what way X conducted the meeting differently and tried to implement them in my style in the coming meetings.
